This Alternating Pressure Pad and Pump (APP) is a great way to relieve pressure on bed bound patients.
It operates by inflating and deflating several times per hour thereby changing the pressure on any given point on the patient.

This unit maintains a "Static Air" pressure by an automatic pump that monitors mattress pressure and continuously adjusts. The unique chambering of this mattress allows the patients weight to be dispersed evenly over their entire body instead of concentrating at pressure points like the coccyx, ischials or heels.

This RSM Mattress Replacement System is just that, it replaces the standard hospital bed mattress. This is the highest level of pressure relief offered by Airway Oxygen.
Similar to the APP, this system alternates air pressure under the patient. Unlike other mattresses, this unit will almost entirely deflate a series of chambers thereby removing all pressure from that zone on the patient. It continues this process by cycling all the zones. This product is specifically suited to patients that have tried previous products and are still experiencing breakdown.
